When Craig asked me about doing his acoustic run, how could I say no? The plans were set, flight was booked and I was ready for one of the funnest weeks ever. I left Warped Tour and flew out to Texas the morning July 15th. I was so thrown off. Warped Tour is like... straight isolation. I had forgotten what the real world was like. Starbucks? What? What's coffee? Um? Normal human beings? Where was I?
I landed in Houston later that day, met my new friend Peter (ex Fairweather) and we took an uber all the way to our hotel. I was reunited with Craig at last and we immediately began photographing before he did an online stageit stream. It felt so good to be back. Craig is one of those people that I work so well with because we understand each other creatively. He's the best. Here's some photos from that night...
The next day we had our Houston show. It was amazing. Very small. I was also handling merch on that tour so I hung out all night while Craig met... literally everyone in that room. It really set the tone for the week and I was really excited.
We headed for San Antonio the next day. Craig had a google chat with some of the Chiodos and Blessthefall guys to promote the upcoming co-headling tour. Here's photos from that day...
Austin was very vibey. I remember for some reason being determined to get frozen yogurt this day because it was so hot.
Last day was Dallas! We were hanging around all day so we ended up taken hundreds of photos around the venue. The show was my favorite of the week and the biggest. It was such a way to end one of the coolest / most creative weeks ever.
Straight after this we all passed out very hard. The next morning Craig and I flew to Cleveland, OH for the Alternative Press Music Awards. Excited for what's next...
